About TFTA

Understanding our mission, vision, and the role we play in connecting the Asia-America digital finance landscape.

Building a Connected Financial Ecosystem

The Transpacific Finance and Trade Association (TFTA) is a U.S.-based industry association representing a diverse cross-section of the digital finance sector and commercial trade. We exist to foster collaboration, advocate for sound policy, and facilitate market access across the Asia-America corridor.

Our membership spans the full spectrum of modern financial services—from regulated payment networks and financial infrastructure providers to investment managers, professional advisory firms, and digital asset innovators. This integrated view allows TFTA to address complex, cross-cutting issues that no single sector can tackle alone.

We are a cross-border platform focused on connecting regulated and supervised entities with emerging financial technology participants, driving dialogue between Washington, D.C. and key Asian financial centers including Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and beyond.

  • Integrity & Trust: Upholding the highest standards of regulatory compliance and ethical conduct across all member activities.
  • Innovation Advocacy: Championing responsible technological advancement in payments, blockchain, and financial infrastructure.
  • Cross-Border Collaboration: Facilitating meaningful dialogue between U.S. and Asian regulators, policymakers, and industry leaders.
  • Inclusive Representation: Ensuring voices from established institutions and emerging fintech firms are equally heard.
  • Market Intelligence: Providing members with actionable insights on regulatory developments, market trends, and commercial opportunities.
